Is US Soccer doing all it can to grow the sport?

	Yes, keeping soccer on television and getting the US team to the World Cup are both major achievements.

	No, the sport has not grown recently because the federation is only interested in ticket sales and not in on-the-field improvement.

	MLS lineup struggles, again 1/23/09 - 9:32 a.m. - Honduras knocked off the USA 3-1 at the Home Depot Center Saturday night in friendly action. It was another poor performance from an MLS based squad.		NASL and USL unite 1/7/10 - 4:38 p.m. - US Soccer has sanctioned a new second division league, made up of teams from both the United Soccer Leagues and the North American Soccer League.


Here we come Bob Bradley and the USA will face England, Algeria, and Slovenia in Group C of the 2010 World Cup. If history is any guide, the team will struggle in its match against the three lions - a compelling opening group contest set for 2:30 p.m. (E.S.T.) Saturday, June 12 on ABC.
